Support WEW Cause
Our thinking, research, creative activity, and concern for people are to positively impact and change our local community first. We will gradually affective changes in our communities – outside our local jurisdiction. Like the city we call home, distinguished by a culture of resilient optimism, resourceful thinking, and pragmatic dreaming are the motivating force that will enable us to reach others every day. The formation of our support group will be established mainly for other widows who might need an outlet for support while reaching others.

Our Mission
On November 16, 2013 I gave my first dinner for 25 people. Widows Empowering Widows and Reaching Others (WEW) was birthed out of a desire to bring the weak and strong together in order to empower my community. Lydia Davis had these two friends that had lost their spouse. One of them was strong and excepted the death of her husband like I wished I could have done. She told me that she had not once cried over his death. The only time that she had cried was when the children packed up and left for their home.
My other widowed friend told me how she cried all the time, felt sad, lonely had all kinds of anxieties, this was me, I felt just like she did.
Then I thought something must be done and I was the one to do it. For the scripture in Romans 15:1, read like this – We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
The name of my organization came in clear – Widows Empowering Widows (WEW) because I had learned that there are all kinds of ways we can help our community.
Relief
– If your loved one was sick for a long time, or if his or her suffering was significant, you may experience a sense of relief after he or she dies. This may leave you feeling guilty. Feeling relieved does not mean you love him or her any less, or that there is something wrong with you. It simply means that you are relieved your loved one is no longer suffering.
